Whether you want to take in the atmosphere of The Plough or order delivery of the menu and drinks to your door via the house iPad, we have got you covered.

As you step inside, you will immediately notice the design details that are reminiscent of The Plough's distinctive interior. The furniture & fittings have been carefully selected to give you the same comfortable and relaxed feeling you get when you visit The Plough.

Comfort of a hotel but feels like a home

The house has a cosy lounge, furnished with comfy furniture and original vintage finds, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The dining room has space to entertain friends round a large dining table or as a place to spread out and work. Double doors open out onto a brick-paved patio perfect for catching some sun with a coffee in the mornings or eating out in on warm evenings.

The master bedroom overlooks the patio. It has a vaulted ceiling and exposed original beams, a king size bed for a great night’s sleep and a desk should you need to work. The second bedroom, although not as big, has the same original design features and is a cosy, relaxing haven for a great night’s sleep.

The bathroom has been designed with a large marble shower. Bramley products are provided for use during your stay.

Stay and Dine

The Plough House is located just behind The Plough, our neighbourhood pub and restaurant. We’re open from 8.30am for Brunch and close at 11pm Mon-Sat and 10.30pm on Sundays. Pop in and see us if you fancy a drink or don’t fancy cooking.

You’ll find the same design-focused interiors, a great atmosphere, and our team are a great bunch who offer fantastic customer service. We would love to offer you 10% off your food bill. Simply let your server know you are our Plough House guests so that we can action your discount

Location venue

The Plough House offers a unique setting for filming and still photography shoots.
The property has been furnished with a neutral colour palate in mind. Finish details and natural materials have been considered to compliment the character of the house, and to allow for an ideal backdrop for photography.

Recces are possible so that you can get a feel for the available layout, space and light.

We are able to cater for crew lunches, either at the property or at The Plough, which is 200yds away from the property. Hot drinks are also available throughout the duration of your shoot. Details can be confirmed prior to your event. It’s important to note that our terms for the Plough House differ slightly from standard rentals. Given the potential need for early access before the typical check-in time, a fee may apply to accommodate your special requirements and ensure everything runs smoothly for you on the day.

We have used Bramley’s premium products in The Plough for years so it’s only right to use their natural, beautiful products in the bedrooms and bathroom.

We are unappologeticaly obsessed with coffee. The Plough house is generously stocked with biodegradable Ozone coffee pods and fresh milk for your stay.

Award-Winning Designers

The way a space feels is really important to us. Spencer Swinden have worked with us through our whole design journey at The Plough and this collaboration continues with The Plough House.

Home Baked Bread

We bake our own bread at The Plough so our Plough House guests get to have a complimentary loaf on us!

Sound System

Music is so important to us - it creates an atmosphere and impacts your mood. The Plough House has speakers in each room so you can enjoy The Plough’s shared playlists wherever you are.

Have a Restful Sleep

From the premium mattresses to the Egyptian cotton bedding, you won’t want to get up. Unless you want to come over to the pub and join us for brunch!

Explore Birmingham

Harborne is a great place to use as a base from which to explore the city. If your stay allows you some free time why not take the opportunity to make the most of what Birmingham has to offer. Public transport on Harborne High Street will take you right into the heart of the city centre where you’ll find a huge choice of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

Just a short walk from the Bullring is The Custard Factory, the heart of Birmingham’s creative quarter. It’s set in 15 acres of restored Victorian factories, has the canals running through it and is home to many independent shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, street food, and clubs. St Paul’s Square and The Jewellery Quarter are also areas within the city centre worth checking out for their independent pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants.

Birmingham has so much to offer those in search of culture. The city centre has a wide choice of theatres, museums and galleries. Closer to Harborne is the Barber Institute of Fine Arts gallery, Winterbourne House and Garden and The Midlands Arts Centre, all in neighbouring Edgbaston. For an escape from the city grind you could visit Birmingham Botanical Gardens just down the road, or why not choose a relaxing walk along the canals. You can join the walkway locally and it will take you into Brindley Place and The Mailbox in the city centre via Birmingham University.

Birmingham also has some exciting venues for watching or participating in sport, including Alexander Stadium, Villa Park, St Andrew’s Stadium, Edgbaston Stadium and The Belfry. There’s something for everyone!
